Juanita Jacob

Juanita is an experienced psychologist with a strong background in providing quality therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults across Aotearoa; canvassing the Manawatu, Lakes/Bay of Plenty, South Waikato regions and now Auckland. She relates well to people from all walks of life, with a keen interest in supporting Māori, Pacifica, and other marginalised groups.

Juanita is skilled in conducting clinical and cultural assessments, developing individualised/holistic treatment plans, and utilising evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of individuals. She is committed to fostering a calm, empathetic environment that promotes emotional well-being and personal growth.

Juanita is adept at working collaboratively with various health and education professionals and in multidisciplinary teams within primary and secondary mental health services to ensure comprehensive care. She is proudly New Zealand-born and raised in the Far North, with Iwi affiliation to Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine, and Tainui.
