Megan-Lee Spence-Ross

Megan-Lee is an Educational Psychologist with over ten years work experience as part of the executive team and Head of Learner Support in various schools, and private practice, in South Africa. Since moving to New Zealand, she has also provided wraparound psychological services to a number of at-risk youth in state care, and their whānau. Megan is particularly passionate about supporting children, adolescents and young adults to thrive. Her fundamental belief is that we are the experts in our own lives and we are all capable of our own individual ‘greatness’. Therapeutically, Megan specialises in journeying alongside her clients, creating an authentic, warm and safe space in which to explore emotions, and unhelpful thought and behavioural patterns, whilst discovering inner resources and strength. Using a variety of modalities, she provides opportunities for self- expression and self-discovery, and supports her clients to identify coping strategies and skills that empower them to create enduring and meaningful change.
